A TIMELINE OF MY CRAP…

6 months before moving:“The overly cute lady on TV said to get rid of it if it no longer brings me joy, so I totally purged my crap and now I feel much better.”

3 months before moving:“None of this crap brings me joy but I know I’ll freak out if I don’t take it.”

6 weeks before moving:“I really better start getting rid of all this crap. Again.”

1 month before moving:“I better take this crap. But only this crap. The bare minimum crap.”

2 weeks before moving:“WHY DO I HAVE THIS MUCH CRAP?!”

1 week before moving:“None of this crap even matters!”

2 days before moving:“Why is there so much crap everywhere?! Crap is literally coming out of the woodwork!”

1 day before moving:“Just throw all of the crap into boxes! Nothing matters anymore!”

Day of move:“BEGONE CRAP!”

1 week after shipping:“I don’t care if all that crap falls into the ocean.”

2 weeks after shipping:“I don’t even remember what my crap looks like.”

4 weeks after shipping:“Guess all my stuff is about to be here. Better check up on my shipment.”

4 weeks and one day after shipping:“SO HELP ME GOD IF YOU HARM ONE MOLECULE OF MY BELOVED TREASURES I WILL BURN YOUR SHIPYARD DOWN.”

5 weeks after shipping:“This is a song I like to call, ‘All I Ever Need and All That I Am is Aboard Yond Ship Afar.’”
