Grace is not a religious doctrine but a person – Christ. Grace is about receiving God's unmerited favor and supply, while religion focuses on human efforts and demands. This means that grace leads to faith, healing, righteousness, and provision, while religion generates guilt, anxiety, and self-righteousness. We need an understanding of our identity in Christ and to see God's provision rather than dwelling on demands. Ultimately, as believers, we need to shift our focus from self to Christ and embrace the abundant grace that God offers.
