The Everything Crew links up for another summer session! The fellas are joined this week by extended crew member Mikhala (@heymkayy ) and start by talking about the BET awards, what were some of our favorite moments, G touched on Tyler Perry’s powerful speech and what it means for the future generation of creatives and black entertainers. The crew then transitions to Lizzo’s performance and how they feel it ties into the new wave of inclusion and confidence in plus size woman and black entertainers in general. Brandon proposes a question that we ask ourselves daily , “do you really wanna get married ?” Which leads to a conversation amongst the crew on why they feel they aren’t ready and what it would take for them to get to that point. The crew finishes it off with a recent DC Fox News 5 study put out about women dating men solely for free food (previously discussed in our “Free Meal” episode)
