Yarn Over Hook is partnering with S.A.C.K., which stands for Supporting A Community with Kindness, for a community challenge with one big goal: crochet and donate 1,000 soap sacks, each with a bar of soap, to local communities around the world.

In this episode, we share details about the Summer Stash Bash kickoff livestream happening Wednesday, May 27 at 1:30 PM PT, including a giveaway for two handcrafted resin crochet hooks from Yarnbow, a family-run business based in Austin, Texas known for handcrafted Glissando resin crochet hooks.

We also ask this week’s community question: What are your favorite stash-busting crochet projects? From soap sacks and granny squares to dishcloths, scrap blankets, amigurumi minis, and the yarn that has been waiting the longest in your stash, this is your chance to share what you love making when your stash gets a little too powerful.
