Summer Sum Up ist ein Podcast von Koprow&Preßmar in welchem wir mit Künstler*innen über ihre Arbeiten sprechen, die sie im Rahmen des This Is Not Lebanon Festivals oder im Sommerbau zeigen. In den ersten Folgen, werden wir mit Künstler*innen vom This Is Not Lebanon Festival sprechen. Diese Folgen werden auf Englisch sein. Die anderen Folgen, in denen wir mit Künstler*innen sprechen, die ihre Arbeiten im Sommerbau-Programm zeigen, werden auf Deutsch sein.

In dieser Folge haben wir mit dem Philosophen, Ethiklehrer und Gärtner Leon Joskowitz gesprochen. Er ist Gastgeber des Philosophischen Salons der Jüdischen Gemeinde Frankfurt und hat die Reihe Philosophisch Dinieren begründet, in welcher Denken und Essen verbunden wird. Im Rahmen der Frankfurter Dionysen hat er die Bevölkerungsversammlung im Sommerbau realisiert, welche über vier Termine die Bevölkerung von Frankfurt und Offenbach zum gemeinsamen Austausch darüber, wie man Zusammenleben möchte, einlädt. Die vierte und letzte Bevölkerungsversammlung findet am 26.09. statt und hat als Thema die Bundestagswahl.

Summer Sum Up is a Podcast by Michelle Koprow and Laura-Marie Preßmar (Koprow&Preßmar) in which we talk to artists about their work that they are presenting at the This Is Not Lebanon Festival and Sommerbau. For the first episodes we will talk to artists from the This Is Not Lebanon Festival, those episodes will be in English. The other episodes will be featuring artists who show their work at Sommerbau and those episodes will be in German.

In this episode we talked to the philosopher, ethics teacher and gardener Leon Joskowitz. He is the host of the so called Philosophischer Salon (philosophic salon) by the Jewish community Frankfurt and established the series Philosophisch Dinieren (dining philosophically) in which thinking and eating are being connected with each other. Within the Frankfurt Dionysia he realised the Bevölkerungsversammlung (gathering of the local population) at Sommerbau. Over the course of four dates the inhabitants of Frankfurt and Offenbach were invited to discuss how they want to live together. The fourth and last Bevölkerungsversammlung will take part on 26th of September and has the parliamentary election as a topic.
