LOVE THIS SERIES!
I discovered this series when I found one of the books at our local library's book sale and have been ordering them through amazon ever since (used). Fascinating mysteries, a great character in Inspector Alvarez and his life and his problems with his superior. Wonderful evocative descriptions of Mallorca. I have not read one of these that has disappointed. Eventually I hope to read all 37 of them!! They do not have to be read in any kind of order to understand the characters, which is a big plus.
