Sunday Best Bible Study

The Beatitudes are "the Christian's identity card" and the path to holiness.  Our modern saints like Teresa of Calcutta and many "saints next door," - are ordinary people who live the Beatitudes quietly.  God offers His holiness but does not impose it.  He sows it in us and awaits our response.  Do I practice the Beatitudes?

Imitating God

The readings cite several well known and important commandments.

However, the focus is not on making the readings known but on providing motivation to obey them.  This motivation takes the form of a call to imitation.
