The kids are back in school, Leah is back in school, and somehow the adults are still the least organized people in the room.

This week, Sunday Funday is being recorded on a Tuesday after we already talked for 15 minutes before realizing we weren’t recording. We’re talking first-day bus fails, kindergarten football, Leah going back for her master’s and immediately finding the drinking games, Emily driving through Scott’s front yard, and a Zillow spiral that briefly had us considering moving the Go Team even closer together.

Plus, Rob gets left on a school bus as a kid, we plan the future Go Team compound, and prove that every parent can go from “I WILL END YOU” to “Have a blessed day!” in about ten seconds.

Back to school is here. Structure has returned. We still thrive in chaos.

The Go Team takes the podcast to the lake, and somehow things get even more unhinged. 😂

A suspiciously quiet group of kids leads to a fossilized poop discovery in a Paw Patrol truck, Leah accidentally blasts her smut audiobook over the jet ski speakers, and Scott nearly takes himself out on a slippery dock. Then the moms hit the tube with drinks tucked into their life jackets, we revisit the mysterious life of Mr. Squiggles and hold space for the fish currently buried in Emily and Rob’s backyard.

And because apparently two dogs per family isn’t enough, we wrap things up with a very serious debate involving birds, Betty the bulldog, questionable deposits and — naturally — a potential three-acre Go Team compound.Just another relaxing weekend at the lake.

This week, we relive a family trip to the amusement park of our childhood that included rides older than all of us, a hot dog that looked suspiciously like a human finger, a “Wacky Factory” that was WAY more Friday the 13th than family fun, a weather delay, and a lazy river none of us may ever emotionally recover from.

Naturally, that sends us down memory lane with childhood water-park stories, questionable parenting decisions from the ’90s, and the realization that becoming parents has somehow made us both more responsible…and significantly more horrified by everything our parents let us do.

Plus, the kids are doing what they do best: interrupting the podcast and making questionable decisions of their own.
