By Father Perry D. Leiker, pastor
"Jesus invites us — do you love me? And we are able to say — yes, Lord, you know I love you. But Jesus said that ain't enough — it's not just about loving me, it's about loving me in action. Words are words, and they're important, but actions are much more important," Father Perry tells us for the 23rd episode of our Sunday Homilies podcast. "And when we love Jesus and our neighbor, and even people that we don't particularly like because they are not very nice to us, we don't have to hate; we can still love in spite of the way that people treat us. And if we get that message, I assure you every time we receive the Christ in Eucharist, we will truly, truly be fed."
