All too often, believers who experience fame or wealth struggle to balance them with the call of Christ on their lives. All of us, no matter our position in society, share a struggle with pride. Some may think they’re too good to need God’s help. Others may think they’re too bad and that God couldn’t possibly want them. Most of us want to earn our way into God’s favor. As Pastor Richie will remind us in today’s message, to come to Christ, we must humble ourselves and acknowledge that we’re nothing without Him.
