Summer Sermon Series "Running on Empty." This week, we look at "When faith gets complicated."
What happens when following Jesus costs more than you expected?
In Matthew 10, Jesus speaks honestly about discipleship. He never promises a trouble-free life. Instead, He promises Himself. In Romans 7, Paul shows why we cannot rely on our own strength, and in Jeremiah 28, we see the danger of listening to messages that promise comfort instead of God's truth.
This week, we'll discover that when our strength runs out, Christ's faithfulness never does. The One who calls us to follow Him also gives us the strength to keep going through His Word, His promises, and His grace.
