"On Christ, the Solid Rock, I Stand" — The Story Behind a Hymn That Held Up a Dying Woman's Faith

This week Joe and Shelli dig into "The Solid Rock," one of the sturdiest hymns ever written. Joe shares the story of Edward Mote — a carpenter who scribbled the chorus on his way to work, finished the verses that same day, and ended up giving them to a dying woman named Sister King because her family couldn't find their hymnbook. Rooted in 1 Corinthians 3:11, Joe and Shelli talk through what it means to stand on a foundation that doesn't move — even when everything around you does.
