The verse highlights the importance of a prophet's preparation and their responsibility to faithfully deliver God's message, regardless of the audience's receptiveness. Instruction to Ezekiel: God instructs Ezekiel, "Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears".
