Here’s yesterday’s sermon.

Jesus: Our Humble King

[Mat 11:29-30 NLT] 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."

[Phl 2:5-9 NLT] 5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. 6 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross. 9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names,

Big Ideas:

* Jesus family were made up of Humble people

* Jesus family was poor

* Born in a humble place, refugee in egypt & from the hood

* Jesus had a humble profession

* Jesus had humble followers

By living out the humility of Jesus, we can reflect His character and experience the transformative power of His example in our own lives.
