Join Rev. James Preston and Kingswood Church as we celebrate Baptism of the Lord Sunday. As a part of the New Year and the season of Epiphany, we remember the beautiful gift of Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist at the Jordan River. There, God appeared in the form of a dove, proclaiming deep joy and love for Jesus. From his baptism, Jesus is then sent to the wilderness of temptation and then begins his ministry of healing, hope, and salvation. Today, you are invited to renew your baptismal vows, rejoice in God’s claim and call on your life, and to surrender to God’s direction for your life! Remember your baptism and be thankful!
