True encounters with God naturally produce generosity in three key areas: our time, talents, and treasure. Jesus emphasized money matters because our financial decisions directly reflect our spiritual priorities. While some consider tithing outdated, it remains relevant as a baseline for giving that predates Mosaic law. When we tithe, we seek God first, reject materialism, find contentment, and partner with eternal purposes.
