We may have lost sight of the seed.... but, just in case, we are helpfully given the book of RUTH TO BRING IT BACK INTO SHARP FOCUS. the placement of the book in scripture is no accident and whilst the Hebrew order places the book before Proverbs, the Greek canon places it chronologically as it begins with the line...
