From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed promo copy, in its original Arista factory sleeve. For Eric Carmen fans, this is a terrific find... on the same catalog number as the commercial release of "Sunrise," Arista also sent out promo copies with a 4:00 live version of this classic, recorded at the Roxy in March 1976. As far as I've been able to determine, this excellent live version never appeared on any other album or 45. Most of the promo issues had the LP version in Stereo/Mono, whereas this release has a stereo version on both sides.
