thinking 'bout

how your love went

quietly to sleep.

brightness fading from

your lovely eyes,

ending promises

we meant to keep.

That love you swore

would last forever

has turned into a

huge endeavor,

and I'm left with nothing

warm or clever

to end the apathy

that severed.....

Our precious love.

I wish that I could

find a time machine

to go way back

into our history,

to that place where

love's sweet mysteries

graced our hearts

when we both met...

all I've got

and a love that's dragging

on for endless miles...

on a journey that's
