I got the privilege of speaking with writer and actor David Dastmalchian for the latest episode of the Fancast. David Dastmalchian stars in Boston Strangler on HULU and can currently be seen on the big screen as Veb in Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania. He can also be seen in the upcoming Stephen King adaptation The Boogeyman as well as Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer.
David is also the writer and Co-Creator of the Count Crowley series for Dark Horse Comics which is coming back for a new arc of adventures. Count Crowley features Jerri Bartman, a horror movie host fighting her own personal demons as well as real life ones.
We discuss his career, his love of classic monster movies and the hosts who present them, his personal struggles and his writing process.
