While still glowing in the aftermath of an excellent EVO (which Smash Bros. was sadly not a part of), David Radd played Dead Cells where they decimated enemies using the Ice Bow as well as Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion, which was less different than the main game than he would have liked.  Meanwhile, Tuesday finally finished up Dragon Quest XI and is considering what to do with the post-game content and played Princess Maker 3 where they actively destroyed their daughter's life.  In the news, Sony reported PlayStation sales were up 27 percent as the company looks to get 25 million PS5s sold by the end of the year while Square Enix is reportedly disappointed in the initial sales of Final Fantasy XVI.  The Evolution Fighting Championship (or EVO) reported a record number of competitors with over 9,000 (what, 9,000!?) and most of them competing in Street Fighter 6 and Microsoft rolled out a strike-based system for online behavior on Xbox and announced that the Xbox 360 digital store will close July 2024.  In the topic, David and Tuesday discuss what heroes have abilities that work for action games (like Spider-Man and Batman) and what heroes don't (Superman), breaking down individual abilities and giving examples from existing games.
