Junk food is doing more harm than ever, more so in the United States than in any other developed country in the world. Worse, ultra-processed food, another term for it, does not affect Americans equally. There's much money to be made from this stuff and only a relatively few people making it. We need to redistribute the wealth and empty calories, like taxing the junk and using the income to increase spending on public health. Listen here.
