Why Yes, We're Friends

Super The Cream Always Rises to the Top 2

Listen Later

Brendon and Ronnie reveal the Top 10 games on Rolling Stone's Top 50 Video Games of All Time list. Along the way, the fellas talk about places Huell Howser found California's Gold, marvel at the strange naming scheme of Super Nintendo games in the States, and reflect on how Tetris was a favorite of our mothers and grandmothers alike. Brendon drops some music theory when discussing Super Metroid, confuses David and John Attenborough, and argues that Final Fantasy VII isn't even the highest ranked Final Fantasy. Ronnie uses Half-Life 2 as a barometer for a games list's legitimacy, is still scarred by his playthroughs of The Last of Us (and it's sequel), and misses the short-lived Super Mario 35.
