There is a strong sense with modern man that a gigantic volcano or a big earthquake is about to happen. Everybody knows that judgment is coming.  However, modern man prefers chance cataclysms that will destroy the whole world as against the judgment of a righteous, holy, personal God. He would rather have a meaningless existence in a fatalistic universe than face a God who holds him responsible for his moral behavior. We also list the most evil cities in America.
