Super-Yacht-Stories

This is the story of my first work (daywork) on a superyacht (megayacht). I started out working on a large sailing yacht in Antibes (South of France). The job I was given was not easy or comfortable. Listen and see how I got on and how I started as a professional sailor (yacht crew).

Daywork is how most sailors (yachties) get started and this was my first taste of yachting life.

This is a story of a serious accident that happened on a superyacht (megayacht) that I was working on one summer. Working on these big yachts can be very dangerous, and it is very easy to hurt yourself or someone else. 

Find out what happens to this poor worker and his toe. One minute he is doing his job, the next he is the centre of a medical emergency.

Working as a sailor on large yachts can often be very interesting and makes amazing stories for people to listen to and be entertained by.

This is the story of one of the first super yachts that I worked on. A dream come true, a big sailing boat with a fantastic itinerary, what more could I possibly want? Unfortunately, this boat turns from a wonderful yacht to a nightmare because of the drinking habits, which endanger the crew and the vessel on a rather large journey in the Mediterranean.

This story is absolutely true. The names of those involved have been changed to protect the innocent and the guilty alike; everything else is as it happened.

The names of boats and crew cannot be divulged for obvious reasons.
