It was such a joy having Mark and Chris join me to discuss all things Supergut. The mind/gut connection is truly a key element in taking care of our physical and mental health. These two discuss the science of how critical the mind/gut connection is with passion and expertise and I’m so grateful they come on to share how we can improve that connection through with personal stories that reveal why their hearts and souls are so invested into this future of humanity.

Marc Washington is founder & CEO of Supergut, the leading gut health nutrition company. Marc is a seasoned consumer health & wellness executive who founded Supergut in memory of his sister to empower people with better control of their health through the powerful science of the gut microbiome.

Chris Damman is Chief Medical & Science officer at UR Labs. Prior to joining UR Labs, he was Initiative Lead of Gut Health in the Enteric and Diarrheal Diseases team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He holds an M.D. from Columbia University, an M.A. in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from Wesleyan University, and is board certified in Gastroenterology. Chris maintains an academic appointment with the University of Washington in the division of Gastroenterology with research interests focused on food and microbiome therapeutics for non-communicable disease.
