The Superlatively Yes Podcast

Superlatively Heartless (But Not Really)

Listen Later

There you are. There you are, making our hearts smile so big. We love it when you join us here for an intro to the show and a behind-the-scenes look at our favorite links and things. Truett Moss turns 2 this week, while Baylor June turns a whopping 7 weeks, and we are all counting the days until Christmas. Hunter contributes some podcast content from the Christmas debacle he found himself in. I give updates on life on the road with Cliff and Sandi and also recap Amy Grant’s Lighting of the Tree. Tanya has some cute and fun items that you may want to add to your Christmas list and gives us advice on migraine relief, as well as how to know when too many puzzle pieces are just too many. Other than that, it was a quiet weekend at the Smith household with football, church, and the always faithful Table Mesa. Lean in and laugh with us today. Take Care, Jasa

Words of Wisdom:  Read Philippians 3

“But one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3: 13-14

  1. Forgetting what lies behind. Do not cling to pride in what you think you have done well in the past, and do not cling to guilt in what you think you have done badly in the past.   Repent and pursue Christ in the present.
  2. Reaching forward as an athlete, stretching every muscle and nerve to pursue Christ in His Word and in prayer with repentance, belief, and obedience.
  3. Pressing on toward the goal of being like Christ. He is your reward. Eternity is sure. Repent and believe in Jesus Christ because in eternity, this is all that matters.
  4. Let it be said of you, “She died climbing”
