Major Carroll and the militar police arrive at the inn and are sent on a wild goose chase by Gottfried. Grief-stricken at the apparent death of his son, Professor Milch threatens to inform occupation forces of the secret Nazi hideout. After murdering the chemist, Der Teufel returns to the secret cave to discover that his Atom Man lives.
