Jupiter wants to make everything bigger, so people may think they know more. They may want justice as they see it and rule. It can also encourage expansiveness, which can be lovely… or make one see the world is for the taking. It's a very big energy, and can be generous. Either way, it's not really big on moderation.
Since Mars aligned with Jupiter this past week, there has been a lot of push. So the Aquarius Full Moon, even though Mars has moved slightly on (separating from its conjunction with Jupiter), ignites a big sense of possibility. However, Jupiter is in direct square with Saturn (90°).
Saturn symbolizes what restricts us, disciplines us, and determines how responsible we are. Do we make commitments? What are our limitations? Nothing limits us as much as what we fear.
So when Saturn and Jupiter are in what we call hard aspect, in this case, a 90 degree angle from our perspective here on Earth, we have friction. Two forces at odds with one another. The Jupiter part is possibilities. Learn more, expand, take more. The Saturn piece is “show up”, set limits, keep your counsel. How you respond to these energies, depends what goes on with you. In the end, the ideal is to claim these pieces of self.
Saturn emphasizes what you're committed to and your goals. Or it can feel as though something or someone is stopping you. Jupiter asks: how much do you want to expand? How much do you want to grow? What risks dare you take?
The Leo Sun lights up that moon in Aquarius. We want to shine within our community or even have an impact on humanity. That impulse can be as big as an ocean or as small as a fishbowl… it depends on the person.
