Dr. Carnovale holds the rank of Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Saunders College of Business at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Prior to joining RIT, Dr. Carnovale was Nike Professor of Supply Chain Management at Portland State University. Dr. Carnovale is a supply chain strategist and econometrician specializing in inter-firm networks, risk management and global sourcing/production networks with a specific focus on equity-based partnerships.

Dr. Carnovale and I discuss his transition to online learning as a professor and the challenges he has faced since the pandemic has hit. He shares his story behind deciding to get his PhD in Supply Chain Management and landing a spot as a professor at Portland State University. He then outlines his decision to take a role at RIT, citing how he didn't want to be a cog in the machine and take a leading role, which his work/teaching exemplifies. Lastly, we discuss a few supply chain questions that include the following:
