Dr. Balakrishnan A.S. is vice president in material planning and logistics department at Ford Motor Private Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.  He completed PhD in the area of management studies under the faculty of engineering and technology from SRM University. He has about twenty-four years of industry experience primarily in supply chain management and logistics, worked across the globe primarily in India and China, and published papers related to supply chain, logistics, material flow and engineering changes in various international journals.
