New York State PROMISE is about creating new opportunities and choices with students. While it's one thing to have choices, knowing enough to make an informed choice is another thing altogether. Fortunately, PROMISE service providers like Patricia Zirpoli, who works for ARC Rensselaer in the Capital Region, are presenting students and their families with options through an ongoing dialogue. Patricia learns about the interests and talents of our PROMISE students. Then, she not only researches and finds engaging new experiences for students, she follows up to ensure the right match is created - a win-win strategy.
