Recently in the 2020 the Hon'ble Supreme Court has passed a Judgement as to how the maintenance aspect is to be dealt with, further it has also directed that both the parties should file their affidavit of assets and liabilities in the format as provided in the Judgment, further if false particulars are mentioned then action can be taken for filing false affidavit. Hence this judgement is holding the trend now in Indian courts.
