SUPREME TRUTH AND REVELATION

As many of you know, we are encouraging our entire congregation to read and study the book of Hebrews. We have bookmarks available to guide you in daily readings over the next two months. Our 3D devotions will focus on Hebrews. Bible Studies and sermons will also come out of the book of Hebrews.

In writing this book the Holy Spirit declares Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of the Old Testament. Hebrews deals with Jesus Christ's priesthood and His sacrifice much more thoroughly than any New Testament book. The book of Hebrews alternates between doctrine and practice. A passage which describes the superiority of Christ is often followed by one which encourages Christians to faithful endurance.

The first four verses exalt Jesus Christ in the position of ultimate authority and truth. Do you claim and believe Jesus Christ as ultimate authority and truth? We are literally living in a day when fewer and fewer people around us do! The Western world is increasingly moving away from Biblical objective truth that finds its source in the mind of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. The book of Hebrews will encourage us to be faithful and endure. The love, sacrifice, and salvation through Jesus Christ is our supreme truth and revelation. Keep on keeping on!
