Surah Al-Kahf, the 18th chapter of the Noble Quran containing 110 verses, shares stories of believers who found salvation by unwaveringly following Allah's commands. Revealed during the third stage of Prophethood in Makkah, it imparts valuable lessons, notably from the tale of the people of the cave.
According to Ibn ‘Umar RA, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) declared that reciting Surat Al-Kahf on Fridays would result in a divine light shining from one's feet to the clouds, offering illumination on the Day of Resurrection and forgiveness of sins between consecutive Fridays. Imam Muslim's ṣahīh also records that protecting the first ten verses of this Surah safeguards against the trial of al-Dajjāl.
