Surah Yusuf is the 12th Surah of the Holy Quran and found in the 12th and 13th parahs. This Surah has 11 verses, 1961 words, and 7207 letters, It is revealed in the city of Makkah so it is called a Makki Surah.

It is said by Holy Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) that a person who recites Surah Yusuf and makes his family learn the way of reciting this Surah, his last moments before death will become easy for him and his heart will be free from jealousy.
