First off, surfing naked is freaking AMAZING 😱!

Secondly, it's freaking crazy DANGEROUS 😱😱!

Is super fun, free, wild, and satisfying.

There's an amazing sense of power and inspiration that comes with it.

Yet an incredible amount of vulnerability.

Covering up and hiding... Our thoughts, our feelings, our fears, our desires, our bodies, etc FEELS SAFE.

And there's a deceptive "power" that comes with the territory which ultimately only leaves us with shame trapped on the inside

And ultimately disconnected from everyone, including ourselves.

On the other hand, as Brené Brown says, shame TALKED about loses its power. The shame can't remain long after it's exposed.

We own ourselves rather than being owned by our shame.

But yes, it takes an incredible amount of courage and is impossible when a whole lot of VULNERABILITY!
