SURE, THEY WELCOMED ME TO SURF RIGHT THROUGH THEM...

They were hooting and hollering and having a good ol time

But I was hesitant. I was scared.

Am I good enough to not slice someone head open with one of my surfboard fins?

Are they competent/capable enough to not get hurt by me SURFING right through them?

These fears and concerns kept me going in the opposite direction of them.

Until the perfect wave lined up and I decided to GO.

You see, I often have been so scared of my anger and feelings thinking that I'll hurt someone.

"Am I enough?"

"Can Luci handle me full of anger?"

"Can my kids handle me feeling ashamed?"

And these fears kept me hiding, holding back, and going in the opposite direction.

Leaving me and my family disconnected.
