Dr. Paul McMaster volunteers with Doctors Without Borders.  He said, “I’ve worked in a lot of difficult situations before, but none like my emergency assignment in the conflict zone in northwest Syria.”  Inside a dusty chalk cave, they created a fully-equipped sterile environment.  The team set up an inflatable operating tent and six emergency beds.
