What does it really mean to surrender your life to God?
For many of us, surrender sounds like giving up, becoming passive, or waiting for God to do everything. But biblical surrender is something entirely different. It’s not the absence of action… it’s choosing to release control of your life, your plans, and your expectations into God’s hands while walking forward in faithful obedience.
In this episode we explore what Scripture teaches about surrender, why it’s one of the hardest disciplines for Christians to practice, and how true surrender leads to freedom, peace, and purpose. We’ll look at the example of Jesus, the command to “pick up your mat and walk,” and why trusting God’s direction requires both humility and action.
If you’ve been struggling to let go of control, wrestling with God’s timing, or wondering what faithful obedience looks like in your daily life, this conversation is for you.
Key Scriptures: Proverbs 3:5–6, Luke 9:23, Luke 22:42, John 5:8, Romans 12:1–2, Psalm 37:5, and Galatians 2:20.
Remember: Surrender isn’t giving up on your life… it’s giving God control of it.
