In this chapter, Jesus fed four thousand men by giving thanks to the Father with the disciples' few resources: seven loaves of bread and a few fish. Jesus presented these items to the Father to ask for his blessing because He knew that God provided this small provision to His disciples to satisfy this multitude. In our daily walk with God, He wants to hear from us. He wants us to surrender our little strength, ability, and resources to Him because He is the only one who can bless and multiply them. Israel is a small country compared to others, but it is mighty. From them, salvation came, and it is available to all who believe in Jesus. Today, I encourage you to give Jesus complete control of your resources, as He will present them to the Father to multiply. Jesus is our mediator between the Father and men. Don't let any discouragement steal your joy; surrender all to Him, for He knows how to multiply our resources to ultimately satisfy us.
