In 2018, Melony took her birth trauma and loss and transformed it into a journey to confront one of the biggest challenges of her life: learning to surrender

She decided to name this journey Surrender2Thrive.

Surrender2Thrive is an emotional wellness brand and community, where Melony serves as an Emotional Resilience Coach to guide other women in shifting how they look at their emotions and the roles they play in moving through painful experiences, personal challenges and transitions, healing trauma, and optimizing personal growth.

Melony received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and is also a Provisionally Licensed Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor.
