BTC Host Kathy Barrett interviews Mary Katzke and Amanda Melnick, two extraordinary women who have survived Breast Cancer and are now making a difference for others.

Survive and Thrive is Mary Katzke's new documentary film and its also a statement about how she lives her life as a breast cancer survivor.  Mary is the Founder and Director of Affinity films whose mission is to produce meaningful media.  With over thirty films to her credit she also mentors women pursuing film careers.

Marriage, a baby and a career on the fast track as Vice President of Marketing for the Food Network and cooking channel has Amanda Melnick managing to have it all.   A year ago she was diagnosed with multi-focal DCIS in her left breast and had a double mastectomy as a preventative measure. Now, CANCER FREE, she sees her scars as a symbol of victory and a reminder of the love and support she has in her life!
