The attachment type known as Avoidant is the consummate ghoster. Those of us who love them know the real pain behind their fear of being close, having someone depend on them, and not being able to open up. It's a lesson about attachment types, and how we became who we are. And maybe, just maybe, someone will break the pattern of chasing after a Dismissive Avoidant.
