Wow.... It seems that fall is just about upon us.  Winter is likely not far behind.  Where did the summer go? Or what about Spring for that matter?  Seems like yesterday that you were planting that garden and watching as it grew.  Suddenly it has exploded and there is tons of food to be preserved, wood to chop and stack or things to do to prepare for colder weather.

by now we are all looking to the garden for it's final hoorah or to the farm stands for the best deals on  bushels of this and that to round out our fall harvest.
