Life under German occupation during WWII was a terrible experience. Poland felt this full force after the invasion by the Germans in 1939. Everyday life changed drastically as Jews and Poles were forced to live in ghettos and eventually masses were transported to concentration camps. Survival was one of the hardest tasks in the ghettos and camps.
