Henri Dauman is a master photographer who immigrated to America from Paris, escaping and surviving the holocaust, one miracle at a time. He went on to become a renown photojournalist, with work appearing in LIFE, Newsweek, and The New York Times, among others. He captured personalities & icons of politics, art, and culture ranging from John & Jackie Kennedy, Elvis Presley, Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, and many others, at telling moments of their lives. He talks to Joey & Amanda about why he kept his experience during the Holocaust a secret for so long, how he found success amid obstacles, and what it is like to now be in front of the camera in a new documentary about his life & work called, Henri Dauman: Looking Up.
