In honour of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Marie Claire has released a special "She Talks" podcast series in collaboration with Wildlace Productions.
Inspired by A Night in 2005 by Temidayo Abudu Makanjuola, this series amplifies the voices of Nigerian women driving change in the fight against gender-based violence.
Among them is Priye Diri — filmmaker, advocate, and survivor — whose personal journey fuels her mission for gender equality and women's empowerment. She is currently rallying against the proposed repeal of the Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) Act.
