Today we hear from guest Jax Richards, a child rights' activist, who started his own nonprofit organization called Safeguard Youth. Between juggling two majors, leading a TEDx Talk at his university, and his various philanthropic efforts, he leads Safeguard Youth. Safeguard Youth was created to help amplify the voices of foster youth and childhood abuse survivors, as well as connect survivors with one another throughout Oregon.
