On Butterflies of Wisdom today (Thursday, December 7, 2017), Best-Selling Author, Win C welcomes Susan Brender. Susan created V for Vitality to help people enjoy richer, fuller lives by showcasing those who’ve done it, those who have found ways to expand and enrich their lives in ways they once thought impossible. In her many years of visiting countries and cultures throughout the world and interviewing people from all walks of life, Susan know this to be true: there are no limits to human potential. Initially, Susan focused on art in all its forms as the vehicle for tapping that potential. Susan was fascinated by the passion of both, professional and musicians, painters, dancers, actors. But she also met others, people who created wonderful things, not through sculpture or oils or music, but by reaching beyond the confines of their current lives, grabbing hold of inspiration and refusing to let go. The people Susan have encountered have been both, rich and poor, celebrated and unknown. They represent all ages, races, ethnicities. Some have been dealt a good hand; others, unbelievable difficulties. Yet Susan found they share some important common characteristics. First, they learned to recognize and articulate the dissatisfaction they felt with their old lives. You can’t change what you don’t acknowledge. Second, they were willing to take risks, to go beyond their comfort zones, to conquer that greatest of all negatives: the fear of failure. And finally, they found inspiration, from something or someone. Listening to their stories, Susan learned that inspiration does not magically spring up, like a genie popping out of lamp, to grant us three wishes. Once found, inspiration is like a seed, and must be tended and nourished. Remember the slogan, “Be All That You Can Be“? It may have been the Army’s recruitment device, but it is also a good philosophy to live by. I’ve met such fascinating, inspirational people who abide by that very philosophy. And through “V for Vitality,” Susan is pleased to introduce you to them. To learn more about Susan visit http://www.vforvitality.com/.
